FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $30.24 – $45.36 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience
Summary: Maintains assigned medical equipment and support systems.
Responsibilities
Responds to support requests. Interviews customer to determine nature and scope of the customer’s issue, and the appropriate response.
Diagnoses, resolves and closes medical equipment issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
Performs routine safety checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on medical equipment and support systems.
Demonstrates understanding of customer service policies and procedures, continuously develops depth and breadth of technical competencies.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Job Profile Summary
Clinical Engineering (CE) Tech I is an entry-level position responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned medical equipment. Performs various tasks associated with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a limited scope of clinical equipment under the guidance and/or direct supervision of an experienced peer or supervisor.
This Position is Open to Tech I AND Tech II Levels. All welcome to apply based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in clinical engineering or an equivalent field is preferred.
Associate of Applied Science Degree or completion of a Biomedical Technician Certificate Course is preferred. Education will be verified.
Minimum Qualifications – Tech II
Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with Medical Equipment or maintaining / repairing equipment.
Demonstrated proficiency to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Demonstrated ability to follow protocols and processes relating to equipment maintenance.
Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of preventative maintenance processes and schedules.
Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
